Natural language capture
Write the way you think. Dates, people, and effort are extracted automatically.
Automatic categories
Work, meetings, health, learning, and more — assigned from the phrasing, not a dropdown maze.

How does natural language task creation work?
Type a sentence the way you would say it: “Meeting with John tomorrow at 3pm.” Lumen sends that text through the Vercel AI Gateway, extracts a title, category, priority, due time, effort estimate, and reminder, then stores the task in Postgres.
Which categories can Lumen assign?
Work, Meetings, Personal, Learning, Health, and Errands. You can override the category before saving. Each category has its own reminder bias — meetings and health get earlier nudges than errands.
